Celebrating Firsties!
2021 was the inaugural year for this event.
Our plan is to celebrate the upcoming graduation and commissioning of our local firsties. The parents of current 2nd Class Midshipmen will host this event for the parents of 1st Class Midshipmen.
Flags that have been flown over the Capitol of the United States will be presented to the parents of our First Class Midshipmen so they can present them to their Mids during Commissioning Week. Hopefully our Firstie parents will share with the group the highlights of their Mids years at the Academy, their Service Assignments, and any advice for planning Commissioning Week events.
This event is planned to take place Saturday April 30, 2022.
